2. TDS Deduction Rate

After TDS is deducted, a TDS certificate (Form 16A) will be issued to you. This certificate can be used for filing your income tax returns and claiming credit for the TDS deducted.
5. How We Deduct TDS
The TDS amount is deducted at the time of withdrawal or credit to your account.
For example, if you win ?20,000, TDS will be deducted on ?10,000 (the amount exceeding ?10,000), resulting in a deduction of ?3,000 (30% of ?10,000).
